Refurbishment of the Centre de Vie Enfantine de Valency. The Centre de Vie Enfantine de Valency, located in the magnificent Valency park and designed in 1988 by architect Rodolphe Lüscher, recently benefited from a thorough renovation, in compliance with fire and thermal safety standards. On behalf of the client, the City of Lausanne, we had the pleasure of working closely with the Lausanne-based architectural firm EO. Together, we took up the complex challenge of creating sound barriers in this unique architectural setting, using exposed techniques to ensure a serene and welcoming environment for the children. In addition, interior and exterior metalwork was treated with anti-rust protection, while retaining the bright colors and atypical appearance that give this building its charm.
