Goals
Located on Chemin de Boston in Lausanne, this project showcases the craftsmanship involved in renovating historic buildings. The work carried out includes chipping away the existing surface to prepare the substrate, fully plastering and smoothing the surfaces to achieve a uniform finish, applying decorative mouldings to highlight the window and door frames and architectural features, restoring the eaves with meticulous smoothing and the installation of a Scandatex coating, as well as the application of a mineral-based paint that is gentle on the substrate and long-lasting. The aim is to preserve the building’s authenticity whilst giving it renewed durability and a refined aesthetic. Thanks to a meticulous approach and suitable materials, this renovation breathes new life into the façade whilst respecting its historical identity.
